Newk’s Pimento Cheese Recipe

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions and drain.
3. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until smooth.
4. Gradually whisk in the milk and heavy cream until smooth. Cook while whisking for 2-3 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
5. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and pimentos until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
6. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the cooked macaroni.
7. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
8. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of the mac and cheese.
9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the macaroni and cheese is bubbly.
10. Serve hot and enjoy!
